Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant for a Birmingham studio on a permanent, hybrid basis. You will support delivery on industrial and residential projects from inception to construction, producing planning schemes to detailed drawings and working drawing packages.

Ideal candidates have an RIBA Part 2, UK practice experience, strong Revit skills, excellent drawing and design abilities, and meticulous communications and organisation, with the ability to

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the West Midlands leading RIBA chartered practices who provide expert design services to the residential, commercial, industrial and healthcare sector. They are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their Birmingham studio.

Duties for the role of Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

• Help deliver on a range of industrial and residential projects from inception through to completion
• Prepare and develop planning scheme to detailed construction drawings

• Ensure high quality delivery of producing drawings

Requirements for the role of Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

• Successfully completed your RIBA Part 2 qualification
• Relevant post RIBA Part 2 qualification experience as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant within a UK practice
• Proficiency with Revit
• Experience working on projects within the industrial and residential sector
• Excellent drawing and design skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
