The ideal candidate will have proven skills in level design for console titles and a strong background in Unreal Engine 5. Qualifications

We have a state of the art studio located in the heart of the beautiful Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth overlooking the Harbour.

We are seeking an experienced Level Designer for a 3 month Fixed Task Contract, with proven level design skills & experience working on Console titles, to join our award-winning team. This is a great opportunity to work with a team of passionate and experienced designers on a AAA project.

Requirements
  • Experience working as a Level Designer on at least one published console title.
  • Experience of helping to plan and schedule workflows.
  • A strong grasp of level flow, metrics & pacing.
  • A good visual eye for scene setting, sight lines, vistas and areas of interest.
  • Proven experience working within Unreal Engine 5, as well as with Blue Scripting.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with a creative and multidisciplinary team.
  • Level design experience for third person action games is a benefit.
  • Enjoys a creative challenge with the passion and motivation to make great games
Responsibilities
  • Addressing client feedback within existing levels
  • Working closely with an existing Level Design and Art team
