Job summary

PK Education is seeking an Experienced Secondary Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in Leeds secondary schools on a full-time basis. You will assist with general classroom tasks, small-group interventions, and 1:1 support to pupils with SEND and SEMH, helping them engage with education.

Experienced Secondary Learning Support Assistant

Location: Leeds
Pay: £98-£108 per day
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary and long-term opportunities

PK Education is looking to expand its team of experienced Learning Support Assistants for full-time opportunities within secondary schools across Leeds.

We are seeking confident and committed individuals who have previous experience supporting secondary-aged pupils. Assignments may include general classroom support, small-group interventions, 1:1 support and helping pupils with SEND or social, emotional and behavioural needs to engage successfully with education.

The successful candidate will:

• Have relevant experience within a secondary school or comparable education setting
• Understand the needs and challenges facing secondary-aged pupils
• Be confident supporting SEND, behaviour and emotional regulation
• Build positive, professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
• Work collaboratively with teaching, pastoral and SEND teams
• Be reliable and available for full-time work, Monday to Friday
• Be committed to securing positive outcomes for pupils

Experience supporting autism, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, complex needs or pupils with EHCPs would be particularly beneficial.
