PK Education is recruiting experienced Learning Support Assistants to work within secondary schools across Huddersfield and the surrounding areas.

We are particularly interested in confident, reliable support staff who have recent experience working with secondary-aged pupils and can commit to full-time work. Opportunities may involve supporting pupils in the classroom, delivering small-group interventions or providing targeted 1:1 support.

Experienced Secondary Learning Support Assistant

Location: Huddersfield and surrounding areas
Pay: £98 £108 per day
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary and long-term opportunities

PK Education is recruiting experienced Learning Support Assistants to work within secondary schools across Huddersfield and the surrounding areas.

We are particularly interested in confident, reliable support staff who have recent experience working with secondary-aged pupils and can commit to full-time work. Opportunities may involve supporting pupils in the classroom, delivering small-group interventions or providing targeted 1:1 support.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils

• Be confident supporting pupils with SEND, additional learning needs or barriers to learning

• Be able to build positive but professional relationships with young people

• Support engagement, emotional regulation and positive behaviour

• Work effectively alongside teachers, SENDCOs and pastoral teams

• Be available for full-time work, Monday to Friday

• Have a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people

Experience supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, complex needs or EHCPs would be particularly valuable.

We welcome applications from experienced Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants, SEND Support Workers, Behaviour Support Assistants and pastoral support staff with relevant school-based experience.
