Job summary

PK Education is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support primary, secondary and alternative-provision settings across Leeds and Garforth. You will work with pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning needs, providing one-to-one support where needed.

Opportunities include day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term placements, with on-the-job training from schools and PK consultants to help you develop a long-term SEND career.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Patient, resilient and nurturing approach.
• Strong behaviour-management and communication skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning needs across Leeds and Garforth.
• Provide one-to-one support and assist within inclusive settings and mainstream settings.
• Cover day-to-day supply, short-term and longer-term placements.
• Collaborate with PK Education consultants and school staff to ensure smooth support for learners.

Regular Temporary | Full time | Term time only

Pay £98 - £110 per day.

PK Education is recruiting experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to support primary, secondary and alternative-provision settings across Leeds and Garforth.

We are interested in hearing from people with experience supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication needs or additional learning needs. Experience providing one-to-one support, managing challenging behaviour or working within an inclusion setting would be particularly valuable.

We have opportunities including day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term placements.

You will need:

• Experience working with children or young people
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• Strong behaviour-management and communication skills
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

• Competitive rates of pay from £98 - £110 (depending on experience) per day(AWR compliant)
