Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a range of schools. You will support teaching and learning across year groups, deliver planned activities and cover classes when needed.

The ideal candidate has HLTA status or equivalent, is reliable, adaptable and a strong communicator who can foster an inclusive, engaging classroom and work closely with teachers, SENCOs and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as a TA or HLTA in school settings.
• Ability to support learning across age groups and subjects.
• Reliable, adaptable and well organised.
• Confident managing behaviour and leading learning activities.
• Strong communication and teamwork with staff.

Responsibilities

• Delivering planned lessons and activities.
• Covering classes in the absence of the teacher.
• Supporting pupils’ learning, progress and development.
• Delivering targeted interventions in small groups.
• Promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs on planning and assessment.
