Job summary

Historic England is seeking a Recruitment Adviser in Swindon on a full-time, 9-month fixed-term contract. The role offers hybrid working between the office and home, with a salary of £35,000 per year. The package includes a generous pension, 28 days holiday, and staff benefits.

You will lead experienced hire recruitment across HE, provide evidence-led advice to managers, and help on onboarding, while supporting early careers recruitment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy internal recruitment function at adviser level.
• Recent responsibility for experienced hire recruitment from sourcing to onboarding.
• Experience using social media and recruitment partners.
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Ability to coordinate and manage deadlines and conflicting requirements.
• Ability to provide evidence-led advice to hiring managers.

• Provide evidence-led creative advice to support recruiting managers.
• Lead BAU recruitment activity and ensure brand-aligned processes.
