Job summary

Niyaa People is recruiting an experienced Healthy Homes Asbestos Surveyor for a permanent position in Bristol. The role is full-time (35 hours/week) with standard hours Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30, site-based at Whitehall.

You will be responsible for HHSRS hazards, asbestos compliance and working with repairs teams to deliver quality outcomes. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of HHSRS, asbestos management, building pathology and housing legislation, with a Level 4

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in HHSRS assessments and asbestos management.
• Knowledge of housing hazards and damp/mould conditions.
• Experience working in social housing or asset management.

Responsibilities

• Take professional responsibility for managing HHSRS hazards and asbestos-related issues.
• Coordinate with in-house repairs teams and contractors to meet standards and timescales.
• Provide technical specifications and oversight for remedial works.
• Maintain records to support compliance with HHSRS and Decent Homes standards.
