Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor for a leading UK facilities management contractor. You will work across domestic, commercial and industrial sites, performing surveys in line with HSG264.

Duties include sampling, reinspections, Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys; collect data, transport samples to UKAS labs, produce reports, and liaise with clients and project teams. A BOHS P402 qualification and a full UK driving licence are essential, with a focus on

We are looking for an Asbestos Surveyor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Asbestos Surveyor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

The Asbestos Surveyor, will be responsible for:

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial properties in accordance with HSG264 and company procedures
• Collect site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS‑accredited laboratories approved by the company
• Complete asbestos survey reports and drawings using company software
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing specialist advice and technical support where required
• Liaise with the Asbestos Surveying Quality team, Contracts team, Project Managers, Supervisors and clients as required, while setting a personal example and promoting the company in a professional manner at all times

To be successful for this Asbestos Surveyor role you must have:

• BOHS P402 qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors
• Full UK driving licence
