Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Customs Clearance Clerk to support cross-border movement of goods, working 12-hour shifts on days and nights. You will prepare and check customs documentation, ensure accurate data entry, and handle queries from teams and authorities to keep shipments moving smoothly.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years' customs clearance experience, a proactive approach, and strong communication within a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' current Customs clearance experience.
• Strong understanding of Customs procedures and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check Customs documentation.
• Enter data accurately into relevant systems.
• Handle queries from internal teams, customers and authorities.
• Liaise with hauliers, suppliers and external stakeholders.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Customs procedures.
