Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Civils CAD Technician to join a close-knit team at Standing Stone, Matfen, Northumberland. You will take concept designs through to detailed manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software, supporting multiple civils projects for major UK utility clients.

The role requires 5+ years in AutoCAD/Civil 3D or MicroStation, with knowledge of surveying and site data. A full driving licence and proactive approach to process improvement are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience in AutoCAD / AutoCAD Civil 3D / MicroStation
Knowledge of surveying techniques and handling site survey data
Experience with security, access control and CCTV & alarm systems is preferable

Responsibilities

Prepare, produce, develop and amend drawings to standards and deadlines
Draw and develop site layouts, GA drawings, steel structure drawings, diagrams and schedules
Provide technical support to on-site technicians
Revise drawings and red-line markups
Liaise with Stakeholders across teams and projects
Attend occasional site surveys
