Job summary

Mabey Hire is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our engineering team. You will produce temporary works design drawings for excavation support, propping, formwork and falsework, reporting to a Design Team Leader.

You will create high-quality 2D drawings and 3D Revit models, translating concepts into practical drawings used by customers and site teams, while collaborating with engineers to develop layouts for a wide range of civil projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient using Revit to create 2D drawings and 3D models for temporary works schemes.
• Experience translating engineering concepts into accurate fabrication drawings.
• Strong drafting skills for excavation support, propping, formwork and falsework.
• Knowledge of Mabey Hire products and systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D drawings and 3D Revit models for temporary works designs.
• Translate concepts into practical drawings for customers and site teams.
• Develop layouts and construction solutions in collaboration with engineers.
• Produce equipment schedules and kit lists to support quotations and planning.
