Job summary

Axis, part of Axis CLC, is seeking several experienced Carpenters to support our long-term partnership with Delta covering Romford and the surrounding areas. You will carry out all aspects of carpentry and related trades, ensuring high standards across occupied properties.

You’ll be skilled in door hanging, fire-door work, tiling, plastering, glazing, locksmithing and basic plumbing, with a strong focus on safety and resident service. A valid CSCS card and UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent).
• Experience in fire-door maintenance and protection works.
• Competence in locksmithing and glazing repairs (training available).
• Strong multi-trade skills (plastering, tiling, basic plumbing, decorating).

Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry tasks: door hanging, skirting, architraves, kitchen fitting and flooring.
• Deliver fire-door maintenance and fire-stopping works to a high standard.
• Support multi-trade repairs including plastering, tiling and basic plumbing.
• Carry out glazing, locksmithing and other specialist tasks to professionaI standards.
• Record work in real time via the Axis mobile app and coordinate with teams.
