Job summary

First Bus in Overtown is seeking an experienced bus driver to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will operate local services with guaranteed contracted hours, earning £16.03 per hour and a rotating shift pattern across mornings, evenings and weekends.

A £1,500 bonus is offered, with pro-rata payments for part-time and a supportive depot environment. You'll hold a valid PCV licence and a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points, plus prove Right to Work in the UK.

Experienced Bus Driver – Overtown

£16.03 per hour

38 hours a week

£1,500 bonus (£500 paid after 6 months' service and the remaining £1,000 paid after 1 year's service – pro-rata for part time) T&Cs apply

Already a PCV qualified driver? We're looking for drivers to join our team in Overtown. If you're already a qualified PCV driver and are looking for a dependable role with a supportive depot, this could be a good fit. You'll be driving local bus routes, helping passengers get to where they need to be safely and on time.

This is a full time, permanent position with guaranteed contracted hours, and your shifts will be planned in advance so you know what your working week looks like ahead of time. You’ll work a rotating shift pattern covering mornings, evenings, and weekends, but everything is scheduled to provide as much predictability as possible.

The role

You’ll be representing First Bus within your local community and playing an important role in keeping people connected.
