Job summary

First Group Bristol is seeking an Experienced Bus Driver to join our local Bristol team at Lawrence Hill. This full-time, permanent role offers guaranteed contracted hours and pre-planned rotas across the West of England.

You will drive on local routes, prioritise passenger safety, and deliver a friendly, professional service. You must hold a valid PCV licence and a full UK licence with no more than 6 points, plus the right to work in the UK.

Experienced Bus Driver – Bristol, Lawrence Hill
£17.40 per hour + £3k Joining Bonus (T&Cs apply)
We're looking for qualified PCV drivers to join our local Bristol team, offering a stable career with a supportive depot and the opportunity to work across West of England.

What's in it for you?

You’ll earn £17.40 per hour, with opportunities to increase your earnings through overtime where available. This is a full-time, permanent role with guaranteed contracted hours and rotas planned in advance, giving you greater certainty around your working week. You’ll work a rotating pattern across mornings, evenings and weekends, with your shifts scheduled in advance to give you a good balance of flexibility and predictability.

As a Bus Driver, you’ll be out on local routes across Bristol and the surrounding areas, helping passengers get to work, school, appointments and wherever else they need to go. You’ll be responsible for keeping your passengers safe, staying on schedule and providing a friendly, professional service along the way.

You’ll be part of the local First Bus team, working across a range of routes and getting to know the areas and communities you’re driving in, where your experience, reliability and approach with customers really matter.
