Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking an Expeditor to monitor, coordinate and expedite timely delivery of materials and supplier documentation for the EGL1 project in the UK. You will work with procurement, logistics, engineering, suppliers and site teams to identify delays, drive performance and ensure project schedules are met.

The role requires experience in expediting, procurement coordination, and strong communication to manage multiple priorities in large-scale energy infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as expeditor or procurement coordinator in energy or EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement, logistics and material management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret project schedules and identify delays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier progress against PO requirements and delivery schedules.
• Maintain regular supplier communication to hit milestones.
• Identify delays and implement recovery plans.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, QA/QC, Logistics, and Construction.
• Track status of critical materials and vendor documentation.
• Produce weekly/monthly expediting reports and escalate issues.
