Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals invites a Contracts Administrator to join the Grid & Digital Solutions team for the EGL1 Project in Murton. You will manage subcontractor and supplier contracts, support documentation, and maintain contract registers.

You will track variations, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliance with procedures. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and experience in construction or energy projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Contracts Administrator, Commercial Administrator, Project Administrator, or similar role.
• Experience working within construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy, power transmission, or engineering projects.
• Understanding of contract administration and commercial processes.
• Exposure to NEC contracts would be highly advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain subcontractor and supplier contracts.
• Support the preparation, review, and issuance of contractual documentation.
• Maintain contract registers, change logs, and project records.
• Track and monitor contract variations, notices, and compensation events.
• Coordinate contractual correspondence between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project procedures, and company standards.
• Support the Commercial Manager and Quantity Surveyors with contract administration activities.
• Assist with subcontractor onboarding, documentation, and compliance checks.
• Maintain accurate records of insurances, warranties, and contractual deliverables.
• Prepare contract-related reports and provide updates to project management teams.
• Support audits and document control activities as required.
• Liaise with procurement, finance, and project teams to ensure timely processing of contractual information.
