Our client is a leading, well-established, and respected manufacturing business. Due to new procedures in the company, they have an opportunity for an Expeditor.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Work with vendors to coordinate the timing and means of delivery.
2. Ensure timely deliveries from suppliers to enable the production department to meet customer deadlines.
3. Pull forward requests to improve delivery dates.
4. Process and send back goods inwards rejects and expedite them back into the company.
5. Handle supplier queries and paperwork promptly.
6. Resolve technical and engineering queries with support from the Engineering Department.
7. Maintain the dye pen board and ensure orders are shipped and delivered as required.
8. Address vendor service issues, such as poor product quality or delivery delays, promptly.
9. Keep an inventory of goods and track orders from placement to delivery.
10. Ensure that the correct goods are transferred to each department in a timely manner.
