Field-based / remote Business Development Manager required for a freight forwarding company in the UK. This company specializes in Ocean freight, with additional services in Air freight and Road freight. The role covers the North of England, ideally based around Greater Manchester or Yorkshire.
This is a remote role, working from home and meeting clients regularly. You will have weekly meetings with both new and repeat clients.
Salary and Benefits: £40-50k basic + bonus + car allowance + laptop + mobile
You will be the company's face within your region, booking meetings, developing pipeline strategies, and focusing on seasonal and regional trends. Your goal is to win new clients and expand existing accounts, particularly in container bookings and freight space. The role involves networking and securing meetings across the North of England.
