Job summary

Nomura Holdings, Inc. in London seeks an Associate for the Structured Credit Middle Office to support Exotic Credit trading desks. You will oversee trade management, booking checks, and downstream settlements, while building governance controls.

You will work closely with Trading, Risk, and Operations teams, develop process improvements, and produce daily P&L commentary and reporting to Front Office. The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking, and deep derivative product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide trade management and first-line support for Exotic Credit desks.
• Understand booking, valuation models, and downstream confirmation/settlement processes.
• Manage relationships with senior traders and offshore teams.
• Develop controls and governance frameworks for structured products.
• Review Front Office trade bookings against term sheets and blotters; monitor lifecycle events.
• Coordinate across departments to deliver process and system enhancements; produce reports.
