Job summary

Nomura is seeking a Structured Products Middle Office professional to support Exotic Rates desks in London on a 6-month PAYE contract. You will interact with Front Office, Risk, Finance, IT and other Ops teams to ensure robust controls and governance for bespoke products.

The role emphasises trade management, lifecycle reviews, and efficient demand prioritisation in a fast-paced GMO environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of structured derivatives, especially rates.
• Middle office experience or equivalent control function.
• Attention to detail with track record of process improvement.
• Ability to balance demand and drive change.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide trade management and first-line support for Exotic Rates desks.
• Manage lifecycle events, queries, reconciliations, and T0 P&L.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Finance, IT and Ops teams on controls.
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks for bespoke products.
• Own relationships with FO and other stakeholders for growth and governance.
• Support CTB and RTB agenda with efficient prioritisation.
• Build cross-functional collaboration across onshore and offshore teams.
