Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the Exeter Community Equipment Service Centre. You will work with a motivated team in a role that supports daily decontamination, stock control, and order processing.

The role runs 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a DBS check likely required. The position offers a competitive salary and a company pension, life assurance, and a rewards scheme.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/decontamination experience desirable; full training will be provided
• Computer literate; experience with stock management systems advantageous
• Excellent communication with team and suppliers
• Keen to develop within the role and company
• Hard working, driven and motivated
• Full UK driving licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of community equipment
• Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas
• Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment
• Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the installers
• Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team
• Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner
• Quarantine, sterilise and repack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filed
• Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including in some cases repairs of equipment including PAT testing
• You will be required to participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota
• You may be required to assist the field-based Installation Technicians on occasion
