Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Exeter to support the Community Equipment Service Centre. The role focuses on decontamination, stock control and efficient warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and service quality.

You will handle decontamination, labeling and logging, and assist installers with picking, packing and loading. Training is provided, and there is a 40-hour week with a weekend rota and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or decontamination experience is desirable but full training will be provided.
• Computer literacy and use of stock management systems would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of community equipment.
• Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas.
• Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment.
• Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the installers.
• Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team.
• Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner.
• Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filed.
• Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including occasional repairs and PAT testing.
• Participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota.
• Assist field-based Installation Technicians on occasion.
