Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare is seeking a Warehouse Operative in East Sussex, based at the Community Equipment Service Centre in Hailsham. You will work as part of a motivated team handling decontamination, stock control and order processing to support installers and service staff.

The role offers part-time hours (24 hours per week) with options for weekend rota participation. Training will be provided, and the company provides pension and life assurance as part of its benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/decontamination experience is desirable; training provided.
• Computer literate – previous experience of stock systems would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with the team and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of community equipment.
• Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas.
• Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment.
• Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the installers.
• Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team.
• Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner.
• Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filed.
• Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including in some cases repairs of equipment including PAT testing.
• You will be required to participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota.
• You may be required to assist the field-based Installation Technicians on occasion.
