Job summary

MD Group is seeking a Plasterer / Decorator to perform plastering and maintenance tasks for social housing properties, reporting to the Exeter office. The role requires completing repairs in a single visit and may involve out-of-hours rota shifts across TR and PL postcodes.

Candidates should have a main trade qualification, current safety training, and a background in social housing. The company offers a permanent, full-time position with pension and generous annual leave.

Qualifications

• One main trade qualification (or time served trades experience) e.g. NVQ 2, NVQ 3, City & Guilds.
• Current Health & Safety Training certificates (Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling & Risk Assessments).
• Experience in social housing is preferred.
• Recent experience delivering high quality services to a diverse range of customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering and other maintenance duties, reporting to Exeter office.
• Ensure repairs/orders are completed in a single visit.
• Cover TR & PL postcodes and participate in rota-based out-of-hours work.
