MD Group Ltd – Exeter is seeking a Carpenter/Multi-skilled Operative with a focus on carpentry who can undertake a range of trades to complete repairs during visits. The role is based in Exeter and requires the ability to perform single-visit fixes across social housing properties.

Candidate should hold a main trade qualification (or time served) such as NVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds, with relevant health and safety training. Driving licence and CSCS are preferred; Company car and pension are offered.

Qualifications

• One main trade qualification (or time served trades experience) e.g. NVQ 2, NVQ 3, City & Guilds (two years’ experience preferred).
• Current Health & Safety Training certificates (including, but not limited to, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling & Risk Assessments)
• An understanding and be able to use effectively (after training) equipment and processes which may be reasonably required by the Company
• Recent experience working in social housing
• Experience and a passion for delivering high-quality services to a diverse range of customers

Responsabilités

• Carry out carpentry and multi-skilled tasks to complete repairs in line with orders.
• Ensure repairs/orders can be completed in a single visit.
• Report any issues and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
