Job summary

18 Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Plasterer to join a social housing maintenance team covering Oldbury and surrounding areas. The role focuses on plastering across void properties and planned maintenance to restore lettable standards, with emphasis on quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate will have proven plastering experience within social housing or related environments, hold an appropriate trade qualification, and be able to work independently while maintaining high safety

Qualifications

Proven experience as a plasterer in social housing, property maintenance, or construction.
NVQ or City & Guilds or equivalent trade qualification.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong attention to detail and high workmanship standards.
Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

Carry out plastering including skimming, patching, bonding, rendering and finishing.
Repair walls and ceilings after maintenance works.
Prepare surfaces for plastering ensuring quality finish.
Undertake damp reinstatement works when required.
Work across void and occupied social housing properties.
Maintain safe, clean, and organised site.
Complete job sheets and report additional repairs.
