Job description

PwC has an exciting opportunity to be part of a national team of Executive Support Assistants, who are passionate about supporting business priorities for Partners and Directors across the UK. This particular role will provide dedicated support to a PwC Director who leads work on Customer Inclusion, offering a unique opportunity to work closely with a senior leader across a varied portfolio of client, market and internal inclusion activity. As the Director is a wheelchair user with cerebral palsy, resulting in mobility and dexterity challenges, an important part of this particular role will be providing practical, day-to-day physical assistance where required. This may include helping with refreshments and lunch, arranging and accessing taxis, carrying or handling items, supporting with technology and equipment, and other practical assistance. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable providing this support naturally, respectfully and responsively, recognising the important role it plays in enabling the Director to work effectively and independently. Given the nature of the work, the role may also involve exposure to confidential, commercially sensitive or occasionally personal discussions. A high degree of discretion, professionalism and sound judgement will therefore be important.

What Your Days Will Look Like
  • Manage complex diaries and priorities, using sound judgement to optimise stakeholder time and support business objectives.
  • Draft, proofread and coordinate high-quality communications, engaging confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organise and manage global travel arrangements, proactively addressing logistics, accessibility needs and potential challenges.
  • Oversee meetings end-to-end, including planning, minute taking, action tracking and providing practical meeting support.
  • Coordinate projects and workstreams, supporting delivery, stakeholder engagement and progress across multiple activities.
  • Plan and deliver a wide range of internal and external events, including high-profile meetings and engagements with senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance activities, including expenses, invoices, CRM systems, regulatory requirements and data management.
  • Build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder networks, identify opportunities for improvement and drive efficient ways of working.
Additional Support
  • Provide proactive day-to-day support to the Director, including practical assistance that enables them to work effectively and efficiently.
  • Accompany and support the Director at external meetings and events, helping to anticipate and coordinate accessibility and logistical requirements.
  • Handle confidential, commercially sensitive and personal information with the highest levels of professionalism, discretion and integrity.
This Role Is For You If
  • You are highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships across all levels, including senior and high-profile stakeholders.
  • You are proactive and solutions-focused, able to anticipate needs, make sound decisions and resolve issues before they become barriers.
  • You are adaptable and curious, with a willingness to embrace new technologies, ways of working and continuous professional development.
  • You demonstrate exceptional discretion, resilience and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • You have strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across communications, meeting notes, events, systems and stakeholder information.
  • You are inclusive and relationship-focused, with the ability to understand individual needs, adapt support accordingly and contribute to a diverse and collaborative culture.
  • You are flexible and responsive in approach, comfortable providing both strategic executive support and practical assistance, and adapting to changing priorities and occasional out-of-hours commitments.
