Job summary

Gateway Hospitality Recruitment seeks an Executive Sous Chef for a luxury hotel and venue in Buckinghamshire. The role supports the Executive Head Chef, overseeing restaurant and banqueting kitchens, ordering, health & safety, and service. Strong kitchen management and leadership are essential, with a hands-on approach.

You will coach junior chefs, manage costs, and ensure high standards for events, weddings, and daily dining across multiple outlets.

Qualifications

• Must have experience running busy hotel/venue kitchens.
• Ability to coach juniors and run service with confidence.

Executive Sous Chef required for Luxury Hotel & Venue

Our client is recruiting an Executive Sous Chef to assist the Executive Head Chef in the running of the mulit-outlet kitchens for their luxury hotel & venue based in Buckinghamshire. The role is to oversee both the restaurant & banqueting kitchens and run service aongside the Exec Chef. You will need to have full kitchen management skills and be able to order using Procure Wizard, ensure Health & Safety regulations are met along with running service and encouraging junior chefs.
