Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team, drive restaurant performance, and deliver exceptional results.

We are looking for someone who |

  • Creates a positive environment where your team feels cared for and valued, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent while role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Ensures an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and equipping your team with necessary skills and mindset.
  • Maintains impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understands the financial aspects of a kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Builds a coaching culture within the team, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Is a proactive problem solver, capable of making quick decisions and thinking on their feet.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, engaging in genuine conversations that ensure the team feels supported and heard.
  • Experience maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of financial metrics like GP and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
