Job summary

Soho House & Co. is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team across one of our houses or public restaurant, overseeing operations, budget, and staff.

You will work with the General Manager to elevate the food offering and ensure member satisfaction with high-quality dishes. This role demands a culinary-trained leader with at least 5 years in a similar capacity, capable of managing P&L, labor, purchasing, and vendor relations while delivering exceptional dining experiences for members and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Culinary trained and professional who is passionate and curious to develop and grow as a Chef.
• Experienced managing P&Ls, labour, purchasing, vendors and quality control while providing results in revenue.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Influential leader and operational Chef with proven experience that delivers effective and efficient Culinary Programs, team management and profit driving dining experience(s).
• Oversee Back of House (BOH) operation including recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll and disciplinary procedures; conduct appraisals and collaborate with leadership on staff development.
• Ensure health and safety policy is followed and enforce compliance with Company policies and standards.
• Delegate tasks to the team and complete daily checklists supporting production, orders, events, and dietary restrictions; ensure allergy procedures are followed.
• Educate and train staff on safe work habits and proper procedures for dangerous or unsafe situations.
• Create and enforce processes to run an effective kitchen with high standards of food quality, cost control and guest experience.
