Job summary

Soho House at 76 Dean Street in Central London is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen and drive outstanding culinary experiences for members and guests. You will oversee back-of-house operations, budget management, and a briga de ensuring quality and consistency.

Working with the General Manager, you will enhance the house's food offering, recruit and train staff, enforce health and safety standards, and deliver high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Culinary trained with passion for growth.
• Experience managing P&Ls, labour, purchasing and quality control.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BOH operations including recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll and disciplinary procedures.
• Lead kitchen team to ensure high-quality dishes and budget targets.
• Collaborate with marketing/events on menu creation and costs.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and allergy procedures.
• Delegate tasks and complete daily checklists for service levels.
• Develop staff through continuous training and teamwork with front of house.
