Harbour Hotels is seeking an Executive Head Chef to lead two busy kitchen operations at Southampton Harbour Hotel & Spa, including HarBAR on 6th and the Meetings & Events kitchen. You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership during service, driving culinary excellence and commercial performance.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in high-volume, luxury hotel environments, and a track record of developing teams and controlling food costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead two kitchen operations with separate brigades (HarBAR on 6th and Meetings & Events kitchen)
• Balance high-volume service with two distinct food offerings and breakfast operation
• Develop menus and food concepts; control costs and labour across both kitchens
• Recruit, develop and inspire chefs; implement succession planning
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and kitchen organisation to a consistently high standard
