Job summary

Southampton Harbour Hotel & Spa, part of the Harbour Hotels Group, is seeking an Executive Head Chef to lead two kitchens in a busy luxury setting. The role requires hands-on kitchen leadership, strategic oversight of two brigades, and delivery of high-volume events with exceptional quality.

You'll manage food costs, labour and menus across HarBAR on 6th plus Meetings & Events, while developing talent and sustaining the highest standards of hygiene and guest experience in a premium hotel

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in an Executive Head Chef or equivalent senior culinary leadership role.
• Experience in a five-star or luxury hotel environment is highly advantageous.
• Able to manage two kitchens and two brigades in a complex operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead two kitchen operations and their brigades across HarBAR on 6th and the Meetings & Events kitchen.
• Maintain consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
• Be visible and hands-on during service, leading from the front.
• Develop menus and food concepts for different areas of the business.
• Take ownership of food costs, labour, stock and commercial performance.
• Recruit, retain and develop talent and build strong succession plans.
