Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Executive Director in Technology & Cyber ORM to provide independent oversight of technology and cybersecurity risk across Employee Platforms.

You will develop and execute multi‑risk strategies, focusing on cloud, third‑party risk, and governance across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will report to the EP Tech & Cyber Operational Risk Officer and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with JPMorgan policy and regulatory standards, while advancing

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in computer science or equivalent with 10+ years in a product, data, cyber, or technology operations role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Familiarity with third‑party outsourcing, cloud, data protection, and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Excellent communication skills; ability to translate complex technical information into clear language.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive risk management of operational risk through targeted assessments of global and regional technology processes for Employee Platforms.
• Develop data‑driven strategies to monitor risks, leveraging enterprise tools for feedback and analytics.
• Engage with wider 2LoD technology teams to understand the environment supporting Employee Platforms products and services.
• Understand third‑party risks and resiliency related to specific technology areas of expertise.
• Assess emerging risks and stay current on technology trends, vulnerabilities, and AI/LLM applications to improve oversight.
• Monitor significant events where technology is a factor, including external incidents by third parties or threat actors.
• Collaborate on using AI/LLM trends to streamline assessments and improve quality of outcomes.
