Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the United Kingdom seeks an Executive Director to provide independent oversight of technology and cybersecurity risk across Employee Platforms. You will develop a multi-stripe review strategy and focus on cloud and third-party risks while ensuring governance across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will report to the Employee Platforms Tech & Cyber Operational Risk Officer and engage with stakeholders to drive effective risk assessments and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in computer science or equivalent with 10+ years in product, data, cyber, or technology operations.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Familiarity with third party outsourcing, cloud, data protection, and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
• Ability to collaborate with firm-wide teams to achieve goals.
• Excellent written communication with the ability to translate technical info; curiosity about AI/LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive risk management of operational risk for global technology processes in Employee Platforms.
• Develop data-driven strategies to monitor risks using enterprise tools.
• Collaborate with wider 2LoD technology teams to understand the control environment.
• Understand third party risks and resiliency for specific technology areas.
• Assess emerging risks and stay current on technology trends, vulnerabilities, and AI/LLMs.
• Monitor major incidents where technology is a factor, including third parties and cloud changes.
