Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Risk Technology Frameworks Lead - Executive Director in Glasgow to guide a technical area and drive impact across teams and projects. You will oversee multiple initiatives, ensure effective solution delivery, and promote innovation within Risk Tech.

You will lead cross-functional technologists, shape roadmaps, and be the primary decision maker for your teams, aligning delivery with business goals and architecture standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Experience leading cross-functional technologist teams.
• Experience building platforms/products and driving adoption across a large org.
• Proven track record as Technical Product Owner/Manager.
• Understanding of platform architecture and development.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional tech objectives.
• Decides on resources, budget, operations and procedures.
• Develops and maintains a product roadmap with features and enhancements.
• Monitors product performance and user feedback for improvements.
• Has governance accountability for coding decisions and cost of ownership measures.
• Delivers technical solutions reusable across multiple businesses and domains.
• Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across business and tech teams.
