Job summary

Crowe UK in Maidstone is seeking a corporate finance professional to support Transaction Support and Lead Advisory engagements, reporting to the Director and Partner.

You will assist in due diligence planning and execution, prepare information requests and data books, and contribute to information memorandums and financial models, while liaising with clients, funders and intermediaries to drive successful transactions.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification completed.
• Strong interest and enthusiasm for Corporate Finance.
• Audit background desirable; Transaction Services or Corporate Finance experience helpful but not essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional client interactions.
• Commercially minded, accurate and diligent work style.
• Self-starter with energy to work flexible hours and meet deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

The role is broad and varied. The candidate will assist in the execution of Corporate Finance engagements across both Transaction Support and Lead Advisory, reporting to the Director and Partner.

Transaction Support

• Assist in the planning and execution of due diligence assignments.
• Communicate effectively with clients and other internal departments (e.g., tax).
• Prepare information request lists.
• Cross‑refers and checks disclosed information against our information request list.
• Prepare comprehensive data book analysis based on financial information received.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information and documentation.
• Critically evaluate the information received and identify and explain trends and outliers.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of well‑structured and concise due diligence reports.

Lead Advisory

• Report writing (e.g., preparation of Information Memorandum, Business Plans).
• Financial modelling (e.g., cash flow/financing models).
• M&A analysis (e.g., identification of potential acquisition targets or buyers).
• Researching, preparing and supporting presentations/sales pitches for new business.
• Liaising with clients, funders and intermediaries during execution of transactions.
• Relationship building with local intermediary market (banks, lawyers, etc).

Qualifications & Requirements
