Get Recruited group in Manchester is seeking an Associate Director to lead corporate finance transactions and drive growth within a expanding team. You will work closely with Partners, manage sell-side mandates and build client relationships to secure new business.

The role requires proven corporate finance experience, strong modelling and due diligence skills, and the ability to supervise junior colleagues while delivering high-quality transaction work.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CFQ with proven corporate finance experience.
• Several years' experience in Corporate Finance and completed transactions.
• Strong sell-side experience, including private equity exposure.
• Able to lead transactions with senior oversight.
• Experience managing due diligence with legal and commercial advisers.
• Strong financial analysis, valuation and modelling capability.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Confident presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Good project management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience supervising junior colleagues.
• Professional network of contacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead Corporate Finance transactions from engagement through to completion.
• Take primary responsibility for selected mandates with Partner/Director oversight.
• Manage predominantly sell-side transactions, including PE-backed deals.
• Build trusted relationships with shareholders, management, investors and advisers.
• Prepare and review information memoranda, presentations and documentation.
• Manage due diligence process, coordinating clients and external advisers.
• Contribute to negotiations and client pitches.
• Produce valuations, modelling and investor returns analyses.
• Direct sector research and identify new business opportunities.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - CORPORATE FINANCE

THE OPPORTUNITY

An expanding Corporate Finance team is looking to appoint an experienced Associate Director to take a prominent role in delivering transactions and supporting the continued growth of the practice.

Working closely with Partners and Directors, you will lead predominantly sell-side mandates. You will manage transactions through the full deal lifecycle, develop trusted client relationships and contribute to business development, team leadership and cross-firm opportunities.

THE ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR ROLE

• Lead Corporate Finance transactions from initial engagement through to completion.
• Take primary responsibility for selected mandates with Partner or Director oversight.
• Manage predominantly sell-side transactions, including private equity-backed deals.
• Build trusted relationships with shareholders, management teams, investors and professional advisers.
• Prepare and review information memoranda, presentations and transaction documentation.
• Manage the full due diligence process, coordinating clients and external advisers.
• Contribute to commercial and legal negotiations throughout the transaction.
• Prepare pitch documents and play a leading role in client presentations.
• Produce and review financial valuations, modelling and investor returns analysis.
• Direct transaction and sector research, identifying relevant market activity and prospective buyers.
• Begin identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Build a network of private equity, legal, banking and wider professional contacts.
• Identify cross-service opportunities across the wider firm and group.
• Manage junior team members, allocate work and review output.
• Coach and develop colleagues while maintaining high standards of transaction delivery.
• Support Partners and Directors with the wider growth strategy for Corporate Finance.

ABOUT YOU

• ACA, ACCA, CFQ or equivalently qualified.
• Several years' experience within Corporate Finance.
• A demonstrable record of completing transactions.
• Strong sell-side transaction experience, ideally including private equity exposure.
• Able to lead transactions with appropriate senior oversight.
• Experienced in managing due diligence processes and working with legal and commercial advisers.
• Strong financial analysis, valuation and modelling capability.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Confident presenting and articulating findings to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage competing deal deadlines.
• Previous experience supervising and developing junior colleagues.
• An established or developing network of professional contacts.
• Commercially driven, proactive and motivated to contribute to business development.
