Sussex Police is recruiting an Executive Assistant to support the Deputy Chief Constable. Based at Headquarters in Guildford, you will manage the Deputy Chief Constable's day-to-day business with the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion.

As Executive Assistant the post holder provides proactive, forward-thinking support to the Deputy Chief Constable and the complex business they are responsible for. This will involve managing their day-to-day business and becoming actively involved in their work.
The post holder shall need to provide the highest levels of confidentiality, often having access to information, which is highly sensitive both for operational and personnel reasons, working independently without needing to share sensitive information or issues.
Candidates should note that the Executive Assistant is required to be based at Headquarters and work from there for the great majority of the time, although very occasional remote working may be accommodated where tasks and commitments allow.
