Overview An exciting opportunity to join the team of an established neurodivergent artist and cultural producer based in Birmingham. This role combines high-level administrative assistance and assistant producing, funded through Access to Work as an access support position.
Location: Remote role with in-person work in Birmingham (locally based preferred)
Hours: 10 hours per week / 40 hours per month
Rate: £31.50 per hour
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension
About the Role
This position will provide essential access support for a neurodivergent creative professional working across multiple projects in the cultural sector. The successful candidate will serve as both an administrative backbone and assistant producer, helping to manage day-to-day operations while contributing to project development.
I'm looking for someone energetic and bubbly, with a compassionate approach to work. The ideal candidate will bring warmth and enthusiasm to the role, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a creative environment.
Regular in-person contact in Birmingham will be required (weekly or fortnightly), with additional remote work possible. This role is ideal for an experienced, organised professional with an interest in the arts sector who wants flexible, meaningful work supporting creative projects.
Note on Role Evolution: As my work and projects evolve, this role may shift in focus over time. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and open to developing new skills and taking on different responsibilities as needed, while maintaining the core function of providing access support through organisational and administrative expertise.
