Location: Canary Wharf, 5 Days in the Office, 8AM - 5:30PM

Our client is a leading global financial services firm, providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services. They are currently seeking an Executive Assistant to join their team based in Canary Wharf. This role offers a competitive salary of £23.78ph plus holiday pay. What you'll do:

As an Executive Assistant, your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for managing constantly changing schedules, arranging meetings and conference calls, handling incoming communications, scheduling complex travel itineraries and managing expenses. Additionally, you will provide phone cover and assistant coverage to bankers outside of your designated team. Your ability to multitask, prioritise effectively and work collaboratively within a team will be key to your success in this role.

  • Proactively manage constantly changing schedules, prioritising time-sensitive tasks
  • Manage incoming emails, phone calls, extracting and acting upon content where applicable
  • Schedule and manage complex travel itineraries and event organisation ensuring adherence to internal policies
  • Ensure expenses are collated, packaged, and approved timely and efficiently
  • Provide phone cover and Assistant coverage to Bankers outside of designated team providing cover during lunch breaks, holidays, and sickness absence

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Executive Assistant position will have proven experience providing administrative support. You should be able to remain calm under pressure and deal with last-minute changes to schedules effectively. Your organisational skills should be top-notch with excellent time management abilities. As an articulate communicator, you should be comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels within the organisation. A good knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook is essential.
