Recognised as "Investment Banking Firm of the Year" and "Dealmaker of the Year" by the M&A Advisor, FT Partners is a market leader in executing landmark transactions across fintech.

Founded by Steve McLaughlin, a former senior investment banker at Goldman Sachs, FT Partners has built a team of highly experienced professionals with backgrounds at top-tier institutions in New York, London, San Francisco, and beyond. Our deal volume and calibre of clients span early-stage innovators to global fintech leaders.

We operate a hybrid working model, with three days per week in the office and two from home.

Role Overview:

FT Partners is seeking a highly organised, proactive Executive Assistant to support senior bankers in our London office. This individual will be instrumental in ensuring efficient operations by managing calendars, coordinating meetings, booking complex travel, and handling expense reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate internal and external meetings, including all logistics and follow-ups

Manage complex domestic and international travel itineraries, ensuring seamless alignment with business priorities and personal preferences

Prepare and submit monthly expense reports, resolving discrepancies as needed

Maintain up-to-date contacts and data in Outlook and CRM systems

Act as a gatekeeper for communications—screening, prioritising, and routing as appropriate

Provide high-quality administrative support with strong attention to detail and confidentiality

Build strong working relationships with executives, colleagues, and external stakeholders

Consistently adhere to firm policies while exercising sound judgment in managing sensitive tasks

Candidate Profile:

Experience & Skills:

3–5+ years of Executive Assistant experience, preferably in financial services, consulting, law, or professional services

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Exceptionally well-organised and detail-oriented

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to work independently and anticipate needs without constant direction

Comfortable managing multiple demands and shifting priorities

Proven discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information

Professional and composed under pressure

Personal Attributes:

Team-oriented with a positive, proactive mindset

High integrity and strong interpersonal skills

Eager to contribute to a collaborative and fast-moving team culture

Adaptable and resilient in a high-performance environment

Why Join FT Partners – London?

Work with a globally recognised investment banking leader in fintech

Join a team with roots at Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, and other top firms

Access to premier clients and high-profile transactions

Competitive compensation and strong career growth opportunities

Be part of a tight-knit, high-impact team in one of the fastest-growing sectors globally

Note: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. FT Partners does not sponsor work visas for this position.
