Executive Assistant

Full Time London, GB

3 days ago Requisition ID: 1011

SpinLaunch is pioneering a new era of scalable space infrastructure. Following years of innovation in alternative launch systems, we’re now applying that same disruptive mindset to orbit - developing Meridian Space, a ground-breaking broadband satellite constellation built for rapid deployment and low-cost global coverage. With backing from industry leaders, SpinLaunch is positioned to deliver a fully integrated ecosystem of launch, satellite, and connectivity services. Join us in our mission and be an integral part of a close-knit, collaborative team that strives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. This is a full-time position located in London, United Kingdom that will be primarily remote and will require flexibility for in‑person meetings and events.

Your Mission on the Team:

As Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will play a central role in enabling leadership effectiveness and operational execution in a fast‑growing international space technology company. This role is designed as a high‑impact partnership to the CEO to ensure he is focused on the highest‑value priorities while driving alignment, coordination, and follow‑through across the organization.

You will operate at the core of the business, managing a complex and dynamic agenda, anticipating needs, and removing friction to ensure decisions translate into action. This includes orchestrating executive communications, preparing for critical engagements, coordinating international travel, and maintaining visibility into key initiatives to ensure momentum is sustained. The role requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to navigate competing priorities with precision in a fast changing environment.

You will be involved with working across teams in California, the United Kingdom, and Europe, you will help connect stakeholders, streamline workflows, and reinforce accountability across time zones and functions. Your work will directly support the Company’s leadership as it scales globally - bringing structure to complexity, maintaining operational discipline, and ensuring the organization moves forward with clarity, speed, and cohesion.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the CEO at the center of a highly ambitious international company working on disruptive space technology challenges. You will have direct exposure to leadership, decision‑making, and company development, while playing a critical role in helping the business effectively operate every day. We encourage applications from candidates who are underrepresented in the technology and space industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a complex and fast‑changing calendar across multiple time zones, ensuring the CEO’s time is used in the most effective way and aligned to business priorities
  • Coordinate complex international travel, including flights, hotels, ground transport, visas where needed, and detailed itineraries
  • Prepare the CEO thoroughly for meetings by organizing agendas, briefing notes, background materials, and clear follow‑up actions
  • Screening and prioritizing incoming communications, and drafting correspondence on behalf of the CEO
  • Act as a trusted partner in helping prioritize requests, manage competing demands, and maintain focus on the most important matters
  • Track decisions, action items, and deadlines, and ensure excellent follow‑through with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage and reconcile expense reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate effectively with senior leaders, partners, investors, board‑level contacts, and other key stakeholders as required
  • Support the smooth running of leadership operations, including executive meetings, planning sessions, offsites, and company events
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with complete discretion, professionalism, and sound judgement
  • Help bring structure and order to a fast‑moving environment, remaining calm and effective as priorities evolve
  • Provide project management support and maintain momentum on high‑priority initiatives
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and operational tasks as the company grows
Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience supporting a CEO or other senior executive in a fast‑paced environment — we care more about judgement, capability, and fit than the number of years on paper
  • Outstanding organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent judgement, maturity, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise
  • Strong experience managing complex diaries and international travel
  • A highly proactive approach, with the confidence to take ownership and keep things moving
  • High energy, flexibility, and a practical, hands‑on mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills, presence, and emotional intelligence
  • A natural team player who builds trust quickly and works well with people at all levels
  • Comfortable working remotely and coordinating across California, the United Kingdom, and Europe
  • Able to stay calm under pressure, manage shifting priorities, and operate effectively in a high‑growth environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required; for non‑native applicants, a minimum of CEFR C1 level is expected
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Being adept at evaluating and adopting new technologies to future‑proof operations
  • Knowledge of additional European languages would be an advantage
  • Interest in space, technology, innovation, or international business would be an advantage
