Wigan & Leigh Hospice is seeking an Executive Assistant to support our leadership team. This 37-hour, Monday to Friday role provides proactive, confidential administrative support to the executive team, coordinating meetings and handling sensitive information with discretion.
You will work closely with the company secretary, arrange board papers, take accurate minutes, circulate papers, and maintain action logs.
Do you have a passion for organisation, problem-solving and providing high quality support to senior leaders?, This role supports the Wigan & Leigh Hospice executive team and board. As executive assistant you will coordinate meetings and provide administrative support to the executive team, dealing with complex and often sensitive information. Working closely with the company secretary, you will provide support to the board and its committees, including arranging the meetings, coordinating and circulating papers, minute taking and ensuring action logs are updated and accurately maintained. This is an important role in an organisation that is values-led and delivers vital care and support across the borough. This is a 37-hour per week role, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm (Friday 4pm finish). Please note: This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route of the UKs points-based immigration system. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence of this before taking up the post.
