Job summary

Bobby Moore Academy is seeking a dedicated Examinations Administrator to manage data and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operation of all internal and external examinations. You will liaise with staff, pupils, invigilators and examination boards as part of this key role.

The post is fixed term, full time (52 weeks, 37 hours per week) with Inner London NJC 14, FTE £36,540 per annum and benefits including pension, leave and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in written and verbal form.
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and learning strategies.
  • Experience working effectively in an education environment.
  • NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide data and administrative support for the academy as directed by senior staff.
  • Ensure efficient operation of internal and external examinations, liaising with staff, pupils, invigilators and examination boards.

This is a key role to provide specific data and administrative functions for the academy under the direction or instruction of senior staff.

To be responsible for the efficient and effective running of all internal and external examinations within the academy, including liaising with staff, pupils, invigilators and examination boards.

Bobby Moore Academy is an all through school, providing a world-class education for the children of east London. A school characterised by ambition and drive it is transformational in its impact on their life chances and we all as a community stand firm in our belief.

We are situated across two iconic sites on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and our Secondary phase is now heavily oversubscribed. Who are we looking for

Personal and/or professional development training relevant to this post

GCSE grade A*-C (or equivalent) of NVQ level 2 Maths/Numeracy/English/literacy/ICT

Experience working effectively in an education environment

NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification is desireable

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Knowledge of the national curriculum and other relevant learning strategies/programmes of study
