Job summary

Bridgwater College Academy is seeking a Data & Examinations Officer to manage the Academy's MIS, examinations systems and related digital platforms. You will partner with senior leaders to ensure data accuracy, timeliness and compliance across the school.

You will lead data returns, generate dashboards and support decision-making, while ensuring JCQ and awarding body requirements are met. The role offers a varied workload spanning data, systems and examinations to contribute to school

Qualifications

• Experience working with school MIS systems and whole-school data.
• Strong analytical, IT and organisational skills.
• Working knowledge of JCQ regulations and examinations administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and development of the Academy's MIS and examinations systems.
• Produce and analyse whole-school reports, dashboards and data for senior leaders.
• Lead statutory data returns including School Census, assessment returns and examination data submissions.
• Manage the full internal and external examination cycle, ensuring compliance with JCQ and awarding body requirements.
• Support colleagues to use MIS and data systems effectively and maintain high standards of data quality across the Academy.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes through automation and digital workflows and effective use of technology.
