Job summary

Bridgwater College Academy, part of Bridgwater & Taunton College Trust, is seeking an experienced Exams, Data Insights and Systems Manager to lead MIS, examinations systems and whole-school data. The role supports senior leaders with data-driven decision making and school improvement across both phases.

The post requires knowledge of JCQ regulations, strong analytical and IT skills, and a proactive approach to improving systems and data quality.

Qualifications

Experience with school MIS and whole-school data within an educational setting.
Working knowledge of JCQ regulations and examinations administration is essential.
Strong analytical, IT and organisational skills are required.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day management and development of MIS, examinations systems and related platforms.
Produce and analyse whole-school reports, dashboards and data for senior leaders.
Manage statutory data returns, including School Census and examination data submissions.
Oversee the internal and external examination cycle ensuring JCQ and awarding body compliance.
Support colleagues to use MIS/data systems effectively and maintain high data quality.
