Job summary

St Thomas More High School in Buxton, Derbyshire, is seeking an experienced Examinations and Data Administrator. The role is permanent, 37 hours per week over 42 weeks per year, with an anticipated start date of 19 October 2026, subject to checks.

As part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust, you will manage examinations administration, ensure regulatory compliance, and produce data reports for senior leaders, contributing to strategic decisions and overall school performance.

Qualifications

• Proactive and detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
• Experience of examinations administration and school data systems is advantageous.
• Confidence to manage multiple priorities in a busy school environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the efficient and effective administration of all internal and external examinations.
• Liaise with staff, students, parents/carers, invigilators, examination boards, and other educational organisations.
• Ensure compliance with examination regulations and best practice.
• Maintain and manage examination records, data, and associated administrative processes.
• Produce, present, interpret, and analyse accurate pupil attainment and progress data for the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
• Support strategic decision-making through the provision of insightful data reports and analysis.
• Undertake additional duties related to examinations, data management, and administration as reasonably directed by the Headteacher or members of the Senior Leadership Team.
