Claires Court School is seeking a calm, highly organised Examinations Officer to plan, administer and deliver internal and public examinations across GCSE, A-Level and vocational qualifications. You will coordinate timetables, manage entries, oversee invigilation and ensure JCQ compliance, data protection and secure handling of papers.
This term-time plus role requires flexibility across exam periods and post‑results days, with 40 hours per week over 40 weeks per year.
Help ensure every examination runs smoothly, securely and in full compliance while supporting students through an important stage of their education., Examinations Officer to help plan, administer and deliver internal and public examinations across its Senior Schools and Sixth Form. Working alongside the Examinations Manager, another Examinations Officer and a team of part-time invigilators, you will help ensure that GCSE, A-Level, BTEC, mock and practical examinations run efficiently, securely and in accordance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations. This is a varied and responsible position requiring excellent organisation, accuracy and communication skills. You will coordinate examination timetables and entries, oversee invigilation arrangements and ensure that students with approved access arrangements receive the appropriate support. Working hours and availability This is a term-time plus position, working 40 hours per week for 40 weeks each year. Candidates must be fully available throughout all formal examination periods and during mid-to-late August for A-Level and GCSE results days, reviews of marking and other post-results services.
